Mishel’la has been dancing since the age of three. From the young age she would dance EVERY time she heard music, so naturally, her parents enrolled her in dance classes. She has always dreamed of one day having her own dance company and be able to give back to her community.
Now as a full time worker, wife and mom of two, her loved ones have encouraged her to make her life-time dream a reality – Mish Moves was birthed.
Mish Moves is a nonprofit dance company that provides affordable dance classes to girls and boys of the Roanoke Valley, and we charge even lower prices for low income families. We teach hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, African and more dance styles. We train to participate in dance competitions locally and in other states. In the future we are also looking to add tumbling, more variety of classes and other skills.
Mish Moves is trying to reach their goal of 70k and these funds will go towards them getting a bigger studio to accommodate all of their old and new dancers, more dance equipment, traveling fees and more. To find more about Mish Moves click the link below. www.mishmoves.com
