WHAT DOES IT MEAN AT VASH

VASH Veterans Affordable Seniors Housings and Charities Programs Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that is more than a tax status to us—it is our calling. It means we exist solely for the benefit of the communities and the people we serve.

From a business standpoint, being non-profit means that all revenue remaining after expenses is re-invested back into VASH Charities Programs Inc. programs and services. Our mission is to eradicate homelessness and poverty; we believe every child should grow up healthy, safe, protected, and loved. We believe all families should be able to live in safe, well maintained cities and we take a stand to combat blight in communities by helping to revitalize neighborhoods.

We believe all people who live in communities especially those at risk seniors, veterans, and disabled should have access to good healthcare and the access to information and resources that facilitate that access which includes mental health care, education, business services, transportation, nutrition, exercise and various support services – things often taken for granted.

Through our VASH Charities Programs we strive to work in partnership with local organizations, government, corporations, local businesses and concerned citizens to provide safe, healthy and affordable housing , caring community based programs and services, referrals, and advocacy to those in need including veterans and seniors.
