Kianna Price, a graduate of the University of Richmond, is the TV Host for Living Local on WFXR – Roanoke’s Local Fox affiliate. Living Local is a live weekday lifestyle morning show providing audiences with informative, original, and entertaining content. Prior to her position at WFXR, she was the Program Director and On-Air Radio Personality for The Vibe for over 10 years. Her career has afforded her the opportunity to interview various celebrities from Magic Johnson, and Vice-President Joe Biden to John Legend and Smokey Robinson. The highlight of her career has been interviewing President Barack Obama and later, First Lady Michelle Obama!

Since 2008 Kianna has worked in multi-media formats including hosting a local TV community events show for Cox Cable for 7 years. As well as started and hosted a weekly segment for WDBJ7, your Hometown Happenings. In 2016, she ventured into print media as a freelance writer for Colors VA magazine.

Community involvement has always been important to Kianna as she currently serves as the Chairperson of Apple Ridge Farm; a Board Member for the Carilion Medical Center and the Roanoke Rescue Mission; and recently she was selected to serve on the Berglund Center City Commission. She is a former member of the Jefferson Center Board and Roanoke City Arts Commission and is a founding member of the Urban Professional League (UPL). She’s a member of various civic organizations including “Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.;” “The Roanoke Valley Chapter of Links, Inc;” and President of “The Roanoke Chapter of Jack & Jill of America”.

Kianna is honored to have been asked to help raise funds for deserving non-profit organizations in the Valley. Over the last 5 years, she has raised thousands of dollars for the Salvation Army, VA Blue Ridge Susan G. Komen Foundation, Roanoke City Public School’s Healthy Cooking and Nutrition Program, and Family Service of Roanoke Valley. In each campaign, there were creative efforts placed to raise the funds. From dancing Salsa and lip singing, to waiting tables and wearing a pink wig for a month for breast cancer awareness; Kianna enjoys serving her community in innovative ways while raising awareness and financial support for such worthy causes. However, her main purpose is to draw attention and awareness to these causes while generating revenue for the organizations, so they can continue their great works.

In 2020 and in 2021 she was voted Roanoker Magazine’s Best of Awards “Female Star of the Star City”. She is also humbled to have received the SCLC Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award; the Media Award for Black Girls Rock; and the Roanoke Branch of NAACP Citizen of the Year Award for Media.  In 2015 she was selected to be in a national magazine, “Radio Ink” featuring future African American Leaders in radio. Kianna has also had the honor of singing the National Anthem at the Virginia State Capital Building on two occasions, and in 2012 for President Bill Clinton at President Barack Obama’s Grassroots Event in Roanoke. Kianna is proud to work and serve in her hometown while running after her blended family of five children with her husband Donnie.
