Jim is passionate about building community, livability, and sustainability in the Roanoke Valley.
Moving to Virginia at a young age, he grew up at Smith Mountain Lake and later settled in the Wasena neighborhood of Roanoke. For the last 10 years, he has enjoyed success working in the insurance industry while also finding volunteer opportunities to make a difference.
Jim currently serves as the President of the Wasena Neighborhood Forum and has made significant contributions to local recreational amenities as an officer of the Roanoke Disc Golf Club.
As an outdoor enthusiast, you can find Jim enjoying the cornucopia of offerings we have available from biking, kayaking, and SUP to disc golf, soccer, and more. He also enjoys food, travel, and spending time with his wife and two children.
