Cynthia Harris is a Roanoke native-born and raised and has lived in NW Roanoke for over sixty years. She comes from a family of veterans which includes her late father, her brothers, and only sister.
Cynthia now retired, worked for Carilion Health System for 20 years in an Administrative capacity in Neuro Intensive Care.
She then decided to follow her passion in working with veterans and retired from the US Dept of Veterans Affairs after serving 28 years in Salem, VA.
Cynthia is a mother and a community advocate supporting several groups.
